About Primo
Primo plc as a company first came into existence in 1971, although the name was not adopted until 2000. Primo is an amalgam of 9 different businesses, parts of which have been trading for over 50 years. The present management has not changed since 1987.

The Primo office is not a call centre nor will we ever use automated call handling systems. At Primo your call will always be answered promptly by a helpful human being!

Insurance is our only business and we promise not to try to sell you a pension, credit card, your weekly groceries or a new set of wheels.

What we insure
We can give you a quotation to insure virtually anything. However, complex risks and those with a 'heavy' liability bias take time, sometimes a week or two to get the best deal available, despite our excellent relationships with the leading insurers in the land.

Simple risks we can often do in an hour, but to get you the best price we need to talk to you because we will then get a feel for the insurance risk that an online quotation system can never achieve.
